Terms of Service
The short version: you order, we confirm, we deliver, and if it breaks on the trail we fix it. The longer version follows.
01 · Orders and pricing
Prices are in Nepali rupees. 13% VAT is added at checkout and shown before you pay — the total on the confirmation screen is the total you owe. We confirm every order by email.
You can pay by cash on delivery, Khalti, or Fonepay. If an item turns out to be unavailable after you order, we tell you promptly.
02 · Delivery
We work to a 12-hour delivery target inside Kathmandu Valley and a 3-day delivery target outside the valley. These are targets we hold ourselves to, not guarantees — mountain weather and road conditions occasionally win.
Delivery inside Nepal costs NPR 500 and is free on orders over NPR 10,000.
03 · HIU Mends — the repair promise
“If it breaks on the trail, bring it back. We fix it.” This is a commitment, not a marketing line. It covers every product we make, for as long as you keep it, and every repair is documented. Start at the repair page.
04 · Honest ratings
Product pages state what each piece is built for and at what altitude, including its limits. We publish those numbers so you can choose gear that matches your trail — nothing on this site is rated by adjective.
05 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. If we ever disagree, we would rather repair the problem than argue about it — but Nepali law is where any dispute is settled.
